Perry White? Charles Foster Kane? Jann Wenner? William Gaines? No, it?s just little old me, lucky enough to be involved with this wonderful entity since the beginning. And while I don't get to work with the likes of Spiderman, Hunter S. Thompson or Alfred E. Neumann, (and I'm not looking for a sled, either) I'm gonna count my blessings. Thankyouverymuch.

Editor here, or word-wrangler as I sometimes think of myself. When I started here I was the phone-answering, mail-sorting, data-entry sort of person, and the fact that I've been able to participate in all kinds of things for the magazine makes my current job all the more cool. I still feel lucky to work here. I also get to ride quite a bit with partner Ron and canine children Ivan and Viva, and play drums with coworker Shannon and bandmate Mark in Aydin. If you feel inspired to tell the world about your bike-related experiences, send them to me and they may end up in print.

Burritos, to me, are the perfect food. They've got everything wrapped in a portable package and can be tailored to meet just about anyone's wants and needs. Bicycle Times is kinda like the magazine equivalent to the burrito! As the Art Director for Bicycle Times, it's my job to make it's pages as irresistible and visually delicious as the perfect food. Enjoy!

I never thought I would miss anything about Buffalo, NY. The weather isn't the only thing about that town that is worse than most places, regardless I still haven't found a decent chicken wing in Pittsburgh. They're sometimes breaded, often soggy and far too mild. If only I could take this town's chicken wings through an evolution similar to what Dirt Rag has seen. Spicier, cleaner and higher quality. Bluecheese is for wimps and sickos. Like ice in scotch and Helvetica.

I was a long time racer but now I'm a full time trail rider with just one or two 50 or 100-mile races on the schedule to keep me humble. I've spent my entire life on two wheels and all of my professional career in the bike media industry. Little known fact: I've ridden bikes with all three American Tour de France winners (when we had three) in one year. My passion remains the same: riding a bike every day of the year here on the east coast or anywhere I go, beer stops during races and the honor I've been given to lead the best mountain bike magazine in the world with an amazing staff of friends.

Someone around here has to make sure our lovely publication makes the journey to your mailbox, local bike shop, or local bookstore. That's where I come in. Spreading the Bicycle Times love, far and wide, is what my job is all about. Prior to this gig, I've spent my entire working career turning wrenches in various local shops. Bicycles are my passion, transportation, connection with nature, and sanity check all rolled into one. I feel fortunate to pay the bills doing something I love.

I do all the stuff no one else wants to do; payroll, banking, advertiser payments, book airfare, and make sure we have enough cookies. I also test and write products reviews, write Microbytes and Penny Candy, and proof read the magazine before it reaches your hands. I'm passionate about bicycles, commute on a regular basis and ride for fun in the evenings and on weekends. When I drive to work I bring my weimaraner, Roman, who has pretty much grown up hanging around the office. I play guitar in two bands, Aydin and From Red Sun, and speak German but that really hasn’t helped me around here.

I serve as the liaison between the industry and the editorial side of Dirt Rag for product reviews. Commuting, touring, racing, mountain biking, family rides with the wife and kids all have a place in my heart. We've got a good crew here at Bicycle Times, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

If you're like me, any free time not spent riding bikes is spent surfing the 'Net for cool pics, product reviews, industry analysis and anything else with cycling at its heart. Lucky for me, my job is to bring you all that cool stuff and more, right at the click of a mouse. We're working hard to find new, interactive ways to share all the Bicycle Times content you've come to know and love. And if you're not like me, that's ok too.

Bike industry old fart. Shop and manufacturer's rep sales background. Best sport: bowling. Favorite beer: cold. Favorite trail: the one I'm riding. I can help put a custom marketing/ad plan to work for you.

I still remember my first bicycle. At the time, I believed that bike could take me anywhere that I wanted to go. I was right. There's no place I'd rather be than working alongside a group of sharp cookies, producing the best cycling magazine in the business. And there's nothing I'd rather be doing than leading Bicycle Times' ongoing quality improvement efforts. Except, perhaps, riding bikes. Which is part of the job description too. I give thanks every day.

Originally from England, Pittsburgh has been home for about 20 years. For more than half of that time, I've been tinkering with all kinds of bicycles. These interests led me to a career in cycling with jobs ranging from bicycle shop manager, bike messenger, and mechanic. All the while the hunger and desire to learn everything I could about bikes pursued my thoughts. I think I've found something to do with all of my experiences and all of this stuff in my head.

Did you just call me Nerf herder?! That's National Sales Manager to you, buddy. Sure, I've herded my fair share of Nerf's in the past but that's all history now... I think I've made my point. On to more relevant things: If you are looking to promote your business and market your product, I'm your woman. Cycling, camping, climbing, playing with the kids, calling my local Senator to voice my opinions and all around shenanigans are a fraction of my passions. Bikes are a major part of my life and now part of my work again. I am ecstatic to be a part of the magazine. We have a great crew who are equally passionate about putting together an amazing magazine I am ecstatic to be a part of Bicycle Times. Ever since I pedaled an old Schwinn around the neighborhood as a kid, bikes have had a place in my heart. So what better job could there be for me than working hard to get a copy of two of the best cycling magazines into your hands?! Do you want our magazines in your store or shop, yep I can do that too. I am a man of many talents indeed.

Bicycling runs thick through my Belgian blood. Some of my most memorable rides are road/dirt rides on my steel road or 'cross bikes, a highlight including ascending Railroad Grade to the top of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County on skinny tires. I also enjoy the occasional S24O bike camping experience with Grant and the Rivendell crew near Mt. Diablo. I enjoy taking a bike on CalTrain to visit clients and friends in San Francisco, where the likelihood of bumping into Gary Fisher is rather high.

Growing up in a family that enjoyed bicycle touring exposed me to cycling at a very young age. Cycling has been the most incredible gift my parents could have ever shared. Riding has opened many doors in life and provided transportation, race opportunities, career options, exercise, stress relief, terrific friends, and a fantastic husband! Let's get out. I'd like to go for a spin w you too!
