Bamboo bikes featured on Discovery's 'How It's Made'

Bamboo bicycle makers Panda Bicycles will be featured in an episode of “How It’s Made” on the Discovery Science Channel Thursday, June 7 at 9 p.m. Eastern in the United States and will be shown in a total of 116 countries worldwide.
Panda Bicycles has done extensive research development, design and engineering on our proprietary joint design and manufacturing process. The bikes have been tested to far exceed ASTM standards at Colorado State University and Micobac Laboratories in Boulder, Colorado. The robust theoretical modeling and rigorous testing has allowed Panda to bring you a superb blend of modern cycling technology and natural composite materials.
Watch as one of our one-of-a-kind frames is passionately hand crafted by a skilled builder as they hand select and inspect all of our raw materials to ensure that we are building each bike with only the highest quality material.
Also featured on the episode: breath mints, motorcycle transmissions, and chainsaw art. Cool!
