People For Bikes pledge hits half a million signatures
Just over two years ago, Bikes Belong launched PeopleForBikes.org with the goal of collecting one million pledges for a better future for bicycling. Now they have reported they officially hit the halfway mark this past weekend at Bike Expo New York. PeopleForBikes.org now stands 500,000 riders strong.
Christine Capetola and Carolyn Auwaerter actually “tied” as the 500,000th person to sign the PFB pledge. Since they signed the pledge at the same time, we decided to declare them both our half-millionth supporters.

Christine and Carolyn were the 500,000th people to sign the PFB pledge
As a way to say thanks and to celebrate reaching 500,000 names, PeopleForBikes.org called upon America’s bicycling superhero, Rex T. Rider. Watch Rex in action below.
