Yuba unveils new cargo cruiser, the Boda Boda

Yuba knows how to build a great cargo bike, just watch for our review of the Mundo in the next issue of Bicycle Times, and now the lineup is expanding with the Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser.
The newly launched Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser takes its name from the ubiquitous bicycle taxis in Africa that reunite lovers separated by distance. Similar to its namesake, Yuba’s Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser is no lightweight when it comes to hauling. Giving a friend a lift or scoring a couple of flats of strawberries at the farmer’s market - this aluminum bike neatly fills the gap between classic townies and mega-hauler cargo bikes.
The Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser has an MSRP of $999, and will be available to consumers in July. An electric version will be available and retails for $2,697.

If you're near Yuba's hometown of Sausalito, Calif., head on over to the Boda Boda Launch Party tomorrow (June 27) for food, music, beer, and an in-person look at the new bikes.
Yuba Bicycles has been producing bicycles and accessories designed for everyday trips since 2006. Yuba’s first offering, the Yuba Mundo cargo bike is loved by parents and entrepreneurs seeking carbon-free transportation. The electric elMundo has enabled people to go further, faster, and transport more cargo by bicycle. The addition of the Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser to the line enables Yuba to offer bicycles designed for everyday transportation to riders with modest cargo needs and limited bicycle storage.
