The Tour de France is less than a couple of months away, and we're currently in the middle of watching the best cyclists in the world race both the Giro d'Italia and the Amgen Tour of California. It's a great time to enjoy cycling, and read about all the on-course jockeying and drama. But likely the biggest piece of cycling news all year just dropped: Floyd Landis has not only admitted to using performance enhancing drugs in the past, but he's also implicated THE biggest names in all of professional cycling.

In celebration of Sidi's 50th Anniversary, the venerable shoe company wants to hear some amazing stories about riders and their Sidis. Top prize package includes a pair of Sidi shoes, a Look 556 bike with SRAM Rival components and Look Keo pedals.

Tell your story in 350 words or less. Or write a poem. If you'd like, include a photo of yourself and your Sidis. Or just your Sidis. Get creative.

Each year the Bicycle Times/Dirt Rag staff has a friendly intra-office competition and we (try to) keep track of when we ride to work. A simple grid representing the days of the week listed vertically, and our names written horizontally, is as high-tech as we get. As usual, the staff tallied some strong commuting numbers in 2009.

The Bicycle Times and Dirt Rag crew are sunburned but smiling after two days of riding bikes, checking out the latest gear and re-connecting with industry friends at the Outdoor Demo portion of the annual Interbike trade show. Now the action moves inside the Sands Convention Center for three a three-day blitz of shiny new bits touting and deal making.

We do a lot of bike commuting here at the Bicycle Times / Dirt Rag offices. Why not carry on with our riding ways while in Las Vegas for Interbike?

Interbike is a bicycle tradeshow that's been held at various places in the western United States since, well, it started, I believe. It's an enormous show with vendors from all over the world presenting their best and brightest bicycle bits, big and small.
